As a small business owner who enjoys the process of creating and learning, I have absolutely loved the overall process of seeing our new site come together.  But more than the process and the site itself, I have enjoyed the people that The Mulch Monkey has afforded my wife and I the opportunity to meet and work with along the way.  Here’s a quick list of the people that have just been “Bananas!”.  (That’s Goodwin’s hip term that he uses as all parts of speech.)

The Monkey has enjoyed his time and owes huge gratitude to:

o       a competitor who sponsored me in a recent trip to Nicaragua

o       a local, young internet entrepreneur who has given me invaluable advice

o       the former student body president of Purdue University who happens to be a stellar tech resource and an amazing person

o       the most generous and kind hearted photographer

o       a host of wonderful non-profit volunteers and leaders

o       a competitor who has offered a possible partnership in another endeavor

o       four mentors and potential investors

o       two great children’s pastors

o       a fellow entrepreneur in the restaurant biz

o       and a partridge in a pear tree…oops, I may have gotten carried away.

Lastly, I want to extend a huge “thank you” to all of our customers who have helped us work through some initial growing pains as we worked out the kinks with our new website.  We plan to continue refining the website, so we welcome any and all comments, suggestions, criticisms, compliments, etc…  We are once again officially open for business and look forward to serving you through a great 2011 season!
